Anass Najah and Telstar have agreed to extend the expiring contract for two seasons. The 21-year-old midfielder can therefore also be admired in the Rabobank IJmond Stadium in the next two seasons. Since the 2017/2018 season, Anass Najah has been a familiar face in the white attire of the White Lions.
"Anass is a boy who is familiar with the club. He was part of the successful group from the season 2017/2018 and has shown the past year to develop well. I am glad that we have been able to keep Anass with the club for a longer period of time and thus ensure continuity in the players' group." According to technical director Piet Buter, who is very happy with the longer stay of the midfielder.
In the summer of 2017, Anass Najah made the switch from the Waalwijk RKC to the Witte Leeuwen. Both in the season 2017/2018 and 2018/2019, Najah had 29 matches in the team of Mike Snoei.
