Jaimie van Sikkelerus secures crucial points at Oulton Park!

Jaimie van Sikkelerus from the MPM Routz Racing team has managed to score important points in the British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park. After completing the test at the Oulton Park circuit, Jaimie traveled to the race full of confidence. Both the bike and the team were in perfect condition, which instilled further confidence. Jaimie was aiming for a top score. However, the weather did not cooperate on the day of the race.

Just before the start, heavy rain began pouring, resulting in the race being delayed and eventually shortened to eight laps. This made it difficult for him to find his rhythm during race 1. Despite this setback, he managed to secure a ninth-place finish.

Jaimie made adjustments to his bike's setup to improve his feel on the track. It worked well, as he clocked the fourth fastest time. However, with just one lap remaining, Jaimie suffered a highside crash, landing hard on his head and ankle. Nevertheless, Jaimie was able to continue the race.

He adapted his riding style and began making gains in positions. On his way to the front group, he was the fastest rider on the track. After a strong comeback, Jaimie finished in a commendable seventh place. MPM is proud of Jaimie and wishes him continued success in upcoming races!
