Talking about Speed & Action you immediately think about Pro Modified drag racing cars. That's exactly why the motorsport show 'Autosportdagen Speed & Action' in Evenementenhal Gorinchem could not do without the Vegter Pro Mod Racing '67 MPM Camaro. The 3.000 bhp drag race car is on show at the exhibition booth of engine builder Post & Dros.
The Vegter Pro Mod Racing '67 Camaro is for sure the fastest and without any doubt one of the most powerful vehicles at the motorsport show 'Autosportdagen Speed & Action'. The Camaro covers the ¼ mile distance in 6.1 seconds with a speed of 377 kmh. With two top qualifying positions, a runner-up position at the European Finals at Santa Pod and the number six position in the 2012 FIA European Pro Modified Championship, David Vegter and his team had their best season ever. December 15 and 16 the 3.000 bhp '67 MPM Camaro is on show in Gorinchem. Everybody can take a close look at the spectacular car, but that’s not all, the team will fire up the 3.000 bhp engine in the Camaro at least once a day, and one thing is for sure, nobody in the event centre can miss it when 3.000 horses are fired up.
Vegter's '67 Camaro is on show at the Post & Dros Racing Engines & Parts exhibition booth. Post & Dros is responsible for the engine in the MPM Camaro. Of course Vegter Pro Mod Racing is also in Gorinchem to promote their main sponsor MPM International Oil Company and HKR Techniek. All team members will be there to answer questions and hand out hero cards and free gifts. Post & Dros will also have Simply Irresistible at their exhibition booth. Like Vegter Pro Mod Racing this tractor pulling team of Post & Dros had a very successful 2012 season too.
