Modern internal combustion engines and engine compartments are becoming increasingly compact, leading to more heat generation. In order to remove this heat efficiently, car manufacturers are developing increasingly sophisticated cooling systems. In addition, modern hybrid cars and EVs also have their own specific requirements for cooling system operation and performance.
Car manufacturers now prescribe more than 10 different types of coolant to keep these modern cooling systems functioning optimally.
MPM is continuously working on a complete package of oils and fluids for the vehicle fleet and is now extending its range with 2 new types of coolant and antifreeze.
87000CEVO - Coolant Premium Longlife -40°C G12evo Ready to Use
The new generation of VAG engines from 2018 onwards prescribes a very high-quality coolant with the specification G12evo. This coolant is the successor to the G13 coolant previously prescribed by the VAG group.
G12evo is backwards compatible and can also be used for VAG models for which a G12+, G12++ or G13 coolant is prescribed. This also means that G12evo is suitable for refilling cooling systems with these products.
This new MPM product with the G12evo specification can also be used for various Mercedes-Benz models. However, this coolant is not backwards compatible with Mercedes-Benz. The colour of this product is pink.

87000CBV - Coolant Premium Longlife -40°C BMW / Volvo Ready to Use
In 2018, BMW and Volvo introduced a new coolant that meets the very high requirements they have for their hybrid models. This coolant is backwards compatible for all BMW and Volvo models with a year of manufacture from 1987 onwards. The colour of this product is green.
Both MPM coolants are ready to use and have frost protection down to -40°C.

Antifreeze
These 2 new products are also available as antifreeze, with the product names 87000AEVO and 87000ABV. The antifreeze should be diluted by 50% with demineralized water only (not tap water!) before use.
